The birth and growth of Maxaro

In 2004, the foundations were laid for what is now Maxaro. We started selling whirlpools and steam showers under the name Whirlpool-outlet. In 2008, the bathroom showers product group was added to the range. 2012 is the year the organisation underwent a major change. Sanitairtotaal is a fact, whose collection includes shower enclosures, toilets, bathroom units, countertop wash basins, mirrors and freestanding baths. At the same time as this name change, a webshop is launched. The showroom will be 2,000 m² by then.

Plans for a new location arise in 2014, when Sanitairtotaal becomes too big for the Oud Gastel location. In addition to these plans, the range is further expanded with tiles in 2015. In 2016, the time has come: a new branch in the old Keller factory in Roosendaal, a 40,000 m² site with over 5,000 m² of showroom and 30,000 m² of warehouse.

In the meantime, Maxaro has not been idle. 2020 saw the opening of a second 4,500 m² megashowroom at The Wall in Utrecht. Following that, a year later we opened our doors in Rotterdam with a 5,500 m² showroom and in Hoofddorp a 4,000 m² showroom. In 2022, Maxaro will expand with a new showroom in the Antwerp region. This will also allow us to provide our Belgian customers even better with our wide range at a fair price. In 2024, this will be joined by our 1,600 m2 showroom near Eindhoven, at Meubelplein Ekkersrijt in Son en Breugel.
