At Maxaro, we want to do the maximum for people, animals and our planet. Corporate social responsibility is a win-win situation for ecology and economy. That is why we invest a lot of time in a future-proof concept, minimising our negative impact and using energy consciously. This limits our ecological footprint.

Local involvement

By investing in local collaborations, we give back to the community. This is why we support local events and various sports clubs. With these valuable relationships, we work together to build a sustainable and successful network.

As a fast-growing scaling-up organisation, we like to share our experiences with others. We do this, for instance, through lectures at various schools for the purpose of local support. Often, our employees themselves come up with ideas and initiatives.

We offer internships in every department within our organisation, because we want to contribute to the development of students who will shape the future. The Maxaro Academy is also an initiative we are proud of. With the Academy, we want to ensure the knowledge of our employees to make them a full part of our organisation. The Academy is a carefully developed online platform in which all product knowledge and sales techniques are embedded to facilitate sales staff and buyers.

Vitality in the workplace is a recurring theme in our organisation. Health and team-building activities are encouraged. For example, we have participated in various marathons for several years.

The warehouse and our processes

In our warehouses and megashowrooms, we use heat pump systems, 100% led lighting and fully electric transport. With efficient processes, we avoid waste. Through automatically generated picking lists and the four-eye principle, picking of products takes place as efficiently as possible and errors are minimised. We minimise returns by communicating with the customer beforehand on how the product should be used. In this way, the customer does not encounter any surprises at home.

Products

At Maxaro, we stand for self-developed quality products that last for years. We develop these in direct line with our manufacturers so there is no middleman. This reduces our footprint, as we do not travel unnecessary kilometres by land or sea. It also results in us being able to charge fair prices. Having control over the value chain means having a grip on raw materials used, labels and working conditions.

We make every effort to provide our products with sustainable features. For example, many of our taps are water-saving thanks to a smart system that adds air to the water jet. In our mirrors, we use energy-efficient led lighting. Because many Maxaro products are modular, we can send a product component to the customer for replacement instead of the entire finished product.

Inspire

We aim to give our customers maximum success, even remotely. By offering full attention, choice and experience online, we minimise our customers' travel movements. From inspiration to purchase to service, everything can be arranged online or in direct contact with our departments.

We support our customers in making sustainable choices. We do this by providing tips on how to achieve a sustainable bathroom and by training employees on sustainable products.
