After a long working day or a hard workout, there is nothing better than recovering in a warm bath. There is a type of bath for every bathroom. Even if your house does not seem suitable for a bath, for example because the bathroom is very compact. Do you have a bath but would like a new one? Or are you looking for a bath for your current bathroom or new home? In this blog, you will read all about the perfect type of bath for every bathroom.

The ideal bath for a compact bathroom

Do you have a smaller bathroom, but would still like a bath? Then abuilt-in bathis often a good solution. This bath is placed against one or more walls, after which the front and side(s) are tiled in. Because it is directly against the wall, you don't lose any space. On the bath rim against the wall, you have space to put things. Put your bath products like shampoo and shower gel here, for example, to save cabinet space.

Space-saving shapes and sizes

Most built-in bathtubs are rectangular. You can choose a standard depth, but Maxaro also has extra-deep baths in its collection. This is handy for tall people, and gives you the option to immerse yourself even further in the water. Just keep in mind that this will require more water to fill the bath.

Is a rectangular bath still too spacious for your bathroom? Then opt for a pentagonal bath. Especially if you have an elongated bathroom, this type of bath saves a lot of space.Even a smallwhirlpooloften fits perfectly into a compact bathroom thanks to its pentagonal or quarter-round shape.

Bath and shower in one

Is your bathroom simply not spacious enough for both a shower and a bath? Then choose the best of both worlds and install a shower bath in your bathroom: a bathtub in which you can also shower. This allows you to take a quick shower in the morning and relax in the bath in the evening. All our built-in baths, including the shower baths, are made of acrylic reinforced with fibreglass. This material has a lot of grip, making you stand or lie down much more firmly.

Unique to this bath is the straight sloping short side. This gives you enough space to shower comfortably. We do advise you to always combine a shower bath with abath screen, to avoid a wet floor.

All the choices for a large bathroom

A large bathroom offers many more possibilities than a compact space. Choose a freestanding bath or luxury whirlpool instead of a built-in bath, for example. Baths take up more space than built-in baths, but that doesn't matter if you have enough space. A freestanding bath gives the bathroom a spacious feel. This is because the walls are left free, making the room seem larger. Another advantage is that a freestanding bath is often large enough for two people.

You are free to place the bath wherever you want. This does not have to be in the bathroom. How about a large double bath or relaxing whirlpool in your bedroom, for example? Make your freestanding bath a real eye-catcher by placing it in the middle of the room.

Freestanding bath in various sizes

Maxaro also has an extensive range offreestanding baths. Most baths have an oval shape, but rectangular finishes are also an option. The clean finish and straight lines give the bath a modern look. Or choose an asymmetrical bath, where one end is higher than the other. Lay your head comfortably against the bathtub rim and completely unwind.

It is important that your freestanding bath is in proportion to your bathroom. If you choose a bath that is too large, the room will appear visually smaller. On the other hand, a bath that is too small will disappear in a huge bathroom. That's a shame, because a freestanding bath is a real showpiece.Keep in mind that the bath should also fit into the room. So calculate in advance whether the bath will fit through the door and up the stairs if necessary.

Baths made of different materials

Almost all our freestanding baths are made of acrylic reinforced with fibreglass.During production, the bath is manually polished both on the inside and outside. This prevents colour and gloss differences on both sides of the freestanding bath. If an acrylic bath is not fully polished, but sprayed with paint, these differences do occur.

A number of freestanding baths are made of mineral marble. This material is a lot heavier than acrylic. This gives a sturdy, solid feel when you take a bath. Also, the edges of a mineral marble bath are tighter and more minimalist, and you have the choice of a glossy or matt finish.

You use the stainless steel legs under the freestanding baths to perfectly level the bath. There is enough space under the baths to fit the siphon.

Good intermediate solution: a semi-freestanding bath

Don't have enough space for a freestanding bath but want to create that illusion? Then a semi-freestanding bath offers a solution. This type of bath comes in two different finishes, both made of acrylic reinforced with fibreglass. The first freestanding bath stands with two sides against the wall, saving you space. The other side and the front are finished, so the bath does not need to be tiled in. The second design stands with one side against the wall, and has three finished sides. This way, your bath looks just like a freestanding bath.

A freestanding bath exudes luxury and design. It gives the bathroom a spacious feel, as it is possible to place the bath a little way out of the corner of the room. The freestanding bath is also a lot easier to install than a built-in bath. It already has a pre-assembled frame underneath, and the bath does not need to be tiled in.

Enjoy your new bath

Whatever kind of bathroom you have, there is always a perfectbath for it. This is because there are so many possibilities in terms of sizes, shapes and finishes. The most important thing, of course, is that you feel comfortable in your bathroom. So always choose a bath that suits your needs and taste.
