Many sizes in abathroomare standard. There is also an 'ideal' size for the height of a bath. Measured from the floor to the edge of thebath, it is between 55 and 65 cm (including adjustable feet). Many installers assume this height when installing a bath. But it can very well be different. It all depends on what you like. With the adjustable feet under the base of the bathtub, you can raise it slightly.Because you like it better, or because it fits in better with the furnishings and dimensions of your bathroom.

Height and comfort

You can change the height of the bath in the bathroom. However, baths are available in different heights. On average, a built-in Bath is about 44 cm high, excluding adjustable feet. With the space you need to allow for drainage and any pipework, you will end up about ten cm higher.Freestanding bathsare generally slightly higher and there is usually a space in the bottom for the siphon. A slightly higher bath is often more comfortable. And a higher bath holds more water, so you stay warmer.

Back height

Maxaro has a beautiful asymmetrical freestanding bath in its collection. The back has a height of no less than 88 cm. This does not mean that the Bath also has a filling height of 88 cm, as the other side is much lower. But it is a beautiful sight, and you can rest your head comfortably.

Sunken Bath

Do you want a very small entry? Then a wonderful solution is a raised floor into which you then sink the bathtub. It's not so much about the height of the bath then, but the combination with how much the floor is raised. Usually, only the bath rim protrudes above the floor. So that way, the entry is almost completely eliminated.
