The shortest type ofbathis a sit-down bath. The length is sometimes only 120 cm, and there is a manufacturer that sells a so-called foot-sitting bath with a length of 105 cm, by a width of 65 cm. You can't lie down in that, of course, but for a really smallbathroomit can be a godsend.
Bath length: anything between 120 and 220 centimetres
Baths are available in all kinds of lengths, so there is always one that will fit your bathroom. In this blog, we will take you through the different lengths of baths.
Short Bath
If you don't have a lot of space, you can still succeed at Maxaro. A quarter-round whirlpool corner bath with two 120 cm sides does not sound large, but you can still sit two people comfortably in it. If a corner bath fits in the bathroom, it is often an efficient choice. You can also choose acomplete bathtubwith a length of 150 cm. As the width is 100 cm, you still have the space.
Extra long
An average bath has a length of 180 cm by a width of 80. There are smaller and larger baths, where both the width and length can differ. It is obvious to say that the size of the bathroom determines what the length of a bath will be. This is partly true. The 'size' of the person who will use the bath is also influential. Tall people often complain that a bathtub is not long enough for them. They cannot get all the way under the warm water surface, they have to bend their knees which then remain cold.
Are there no long baths then? Yes there certainly are! The selection is a bit smaller though, not every sanitary specialist has baths of a longer length in their range. Fortunately, Maxaro does. Our longest bath is a double complete bath, with a length of 220 cm, a width of 90 cm and no less than 280 litres of water.
Length = width
There are baths where the length equals the width. This is the case with corner baths, for example. If you have a bathroom that is roughly square in shape, such a bath is a great option. There is plenty of seating space while the bath still takes up relatively little space in the bathroom. Maxaro already has a corner bath that measures 120x120 cm, but in sizes from 140x140 cm there is much more choice.
