Shower tray dimensions, from small to large

Shower trays come in all kinds of sizes. But how do you choose the right size? After reading this blog, you will know exactly which shower tray you need.

A shower tray keeps the water from moving in all directions, and is also the solid foundation for a shower cabin. The walls and shower door stand on that foundation. Did you know that at Maxaro you can choose from 82 shower trays, in various sizes? But how do you know which size to choose? The situation in your bathroom is decisive, but your taste also plays a role!

Compact or nice and spacious shower tray?

It sounds logical: if you have a small bathroom then a small shower tray should suffice. A compact Enclosure will then not take up unnecessary space. Our smallest shower tray size is 70 x 70 cm. If you have a larger bathroom, then there are several options. You can go slightly larger with a shower tray of80 x 80or 90 x 90 cm. Or even bigger, like 100 x 100, or 140 x 80 cm. You will then have plenty of room to shower extensively, perhaps under an extra-large shower head, a rain shower, or a shower head with a waterfall function. Our largest shower tray measures no less than 180 x 90 cm. There is room for two people in such a large shower tray.

Height

So you can choose different lengths and widths, but the height is also variable. The flattest shower tray is only 3.5 cm high. That steps in and out very easily, and is almost comparable to a walk-in shower! The tallest shower tray is 14 centimetres high. With a pot set that you attach to the bottom of the shower tray, it stands firmly on the ground.

Try it out

So Maxaro has many different shower trays in its range. If you shop with us online, the sizes and other specifications are listed exactly with the relevant product. But with showers in particular, it is nice if you can experience the size for yourself. To do that, we would like to invite you to come to one of our showrooms. You can see the shower trays there, but also complete shower cabins. And by stepping into it, you will immediately notice whether a particular size is too small, comfortable or too large. That will make the choice a lot easier.
