Installing a shower cabin is not difficult, but you should take your time. If you have bought a shower cabin from Maxaro, it always comes with clear installation instructions. If you go through the instructions step by step, you will always succeed! The steps described in the manual are different for each cabin. To avoid surprises, please read the steps carefully once before you start. Then carry out the steps one by one. If we assume a standard shower cabin with a shower tray, the whole process will look something like this.
Installing a shower cubicle? Step-by-step
You need to install a shower cabin step by step. In this blog, we explain the entire process on how to install a shower cabin.

Taps and drains
Before you start, turn off the main water tap. Put Teflon tape around the water taps and connect them. Then connect the shower tray to the drain and make sure it is level. This is done using the leveling feet under the tray. Now mount the siphon in the shower tray and connect it to the drain pipe using the parts provided. Glue the two pipes with PVC glue. Once the drain is connected, connect it to the mixer tap and water pipes. Kit the edges of the shower tray to the ground.
The walls
The package contains long strips. These so-called profiles hold the walls in place and give them strength. The profiles are fixed to the walls with plugs and stainless steel screws. Here, too, it is important to work very precisely. There is always some wiggle room, but accurate installation prevents any problems afterwards. Be careful when drilling into a tiled wall. Use a tile drill first to avoid damaging the tile. Then continue with a stone drill bit. Note: do not use the knock/hammer function of the drill!
Shower enclosure door
We said it before, in terms of doors, there are several options! Sliding Doors, Pivot Doors that open inwards and/or outwards and swing open to the left or right. Depending on the type of shower enclosure, the installation of the shower door varies. It is difficult to give unequivocal instructions for the installation of the door(s). The installation method suitable for your type of shower enclosure and door is described in detail in the instructions.

Finishing
To make seams and joints in shower enclosure watertight, use sanitary sealant. Sealing should be done neatly and precisely. So take your time. Once the shower enclosure is installed and sealed, you can add any additional accessories to give your shower enclosure an attractive and personal finishing touch. For example, by attaching a shelf or shelf where you put your shower gel and shampoo. Or by hanging up a trendy soap dispenser. You can find all these accessories at Maxaro as well!
