Delivery conditions for pallet delivery

Large, heavy or fragile products are delivered on pallet(s) via mass transport. Please keep the pallet of delivery until you are sure you do not want to return any more product(s). This pallet will be used when collecting the return items. Such transport differs from regular parcel services. It is therefore good to observe the following conditions:

Delivery address
Delivery will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The evening before delivery, you will receive an e-mail between 9 p.m. and midnight with a time indication of 3 hours. Please also check your spam inbox. In addition, the driver will call you at the given telephone number approximately 15 minutes before delivery. Delivery will be made to the specified delivery address. By default, this is the same as the billing address. Have you specified a different delivery address? Then delivery will naturally be made to this address.

Present at delivery
It is important that one or more persons are present to receive the order. A signature for receipt is required. Our carrier does not deliver to your neighbours. Also, deliveries must not be placed on the street without supervision.

Delivery to the first threshold
Deliveries with large transport are delivered to the first threshold on the ground floor, or to where the driver can reach with the pump truck. A pump truck cannot cross thresholds, gravel, loose stones, grass or other unpaved paths. Therefore, we may not be able to deliver your order to your front door.

Do you live in a flat? Then we will deliver your order downstairs to the porch. You are responsible for getting the products inside/upstairs.

Please make sure that you have enough people available for heavy and/or large products. The pallet(s) and packaging material will remain with you.

48-hour check
Please check the products for transport damage or inaccuracies within 48 hours. If anything is wrong, we would like to hear from you within 48 hours of delivery so that we can fix it. You can make a report via our service form. You will be contacted by the service department within 3 working days of receiving your report.

Acclimatising glass
Does your order include a shower enclosure, walk-in shower, shower screen or door? Please note that glass needs to acclimatise for at least 24 hours before installation. Acclimatisation should be done upright (standing) and in the same room where the product will be installed. You can check the glass wall(s) for damage, but leave them in the box until you are going to install them.

Tiles
Does your order contain tiles? Please read the tips, which are available in the showroom and attached in the transport email. You can also find the tips here. This is to ensure the best possible result.

Planning installation
Maxaro is not liable for costs caused by possible delays. We therefore advise you to have the products delivered on time and to check the products on time for transport damage or inaccuracies. This way you will maintain sufficient space between delivery and installation.
