Showers are made of safety glass. This glass is tempered at 650 degrees, making it up to 5 times stronger than normal glass. When broken, the glass disintegrates into small pieces, which you can hardly injure yourself with. Stabilising bars and wall mounts are made of high-quality aluminium or stainless steel combined with brass parts.

Maxaro develops its own products and offers a unique modular range, giving you thousands of options for putting together a Maxaro shower. You can experience these possibilities in one of our showrooms or easily view them online. We also offer a unique first-line service with a corresponding stock system. Because we are independent of external suppliers, you will quickly have spare parts.

Maxaro offers you a standard ten-year guarantee on your showers from the date of delivery. Keep your original invoice, as this is your proof of purchase.

The outside of the wall profile is included in the size of the shower enclosure. The size of the glass alone is always smaller. As a result, all our shower enclosures fit on a shower tray.

Nano-Tech coating is an invisible layer applied to most of our showers. It protects the glass and prevents water from adhering. As a result, you suffer less from limescale and soap residue and your shower stays cleaner for longer. This coating is also available separately from Maxaro: glass surface protector with Nano-Tech coating.

Safety glass is normal glass that is tempered at a temperature of about 650°C. This makes safety glass 5 times stronger than normal glass. When a shower screen breaks, no large shards are created. The glass breaks into small pieces, which are also less sharp than normal glass shards.

At Maxaro you will find shower screens in 6 and 8 mm safety glass. An 8-mm shower screen is even more stable than a 6-mm one. This extra stability is particularly appreciated in walk-in showers.

A stabilising bar is not required for individual shower screens up to 40 cm. Even a walk-in shower with a shelf up to 100 cm does not require a stabilising bar, as the shelf takes over this function.

Due to the difference in stress in the glass and the difference in temperature, it is necessary to acclimatise glass walls and doors. If you don't, there is a good chance that the glass will break.
