Product description
Foby Copy-Flex is a ready-to-use wall tile adhesive based on synthetic resin dispersion. The adhesive is suitable for indoor bonding of various sizes of wall tiles on all common substrates such as concrete, sand-lime brick, cement and gypsum plaster, cellular concrete, gypsum blocks, insulation boards and existing tiling. Consumption averages 1.5 to 2.5 kg per m².
Non-absorbent and absorbent substrates Highly absorbent substrates must always be primed with primer for absorbent substrates. Smooth and non-absorbent substrates such as existing tiles must be degreased and primed with tile primer. On non-absorbent substrates, the tile must have an absorbent shingle.
Application area of paste adhesive The paste adhesive is elastic, has a high output and is moisture-resistant. It is not suitable for floor tiling and underwater applications such as swimming pools. The adhesive is also not suitable for floor tiles laid against walls. Also bear in mind that gypsum plasters require a minimum layer thickness of 10 mm for sufficient load-bearing capacity.
Accessories Apply the paste adhesive with a suitable glue comb. Choose a suitable toothing that ensures a contact surface of at least 65% between the back of the tile and the adhesive. For an optimal end result, use our tile clips and chocks.
