For the right assessment of the tile, we have listed some tips for you below:

• Light has a great influence on the colour of the tile. Therefore, look at the tile sample in daylight and artificial light in the room where you are going to place the tile. Also compare at different times of day. After all, the light in the morning is different from that in the afternoon.

• Will you be tiling the walls? Hold the tile sample against the wall(s) in question. A tile on the wall looks darker than one on the floor.

• Also look at the sample from a distance of 1 metre. The colour often appears lighter and more saturated from a distance than when viewed up close.
